Afro-Harping is an album by jazz harpist Dorothy Ashby recorded in 1968 and released on the Cadet label.
As we are also celebrating Black music, it’s Hip Hop’s 50th this month and Dorothy Ashby has been sampled by many producers including Pete Rock and J Dilla.
100% of the proceeds goes to Swan Strings, a program providing free non-profit music education, community concerts and sound therapy services to North Texas individuals without access.
